New Thing #167-168

New Thing #167: I got my first free dvd screener in the mail. So this is my first "movie awards season" as a member of the Writers' Guild, and yesterday I received a dvd copy of United 93. I was like, what's this? A gift! In the mail! I haven't seen United 93, but I really hope it's better than Oliver Stone's movie, 'cuz I really didn't like Oliver Stone's movie. Oh, and speaking of screener dvds, Jessica got a screener copy of Little Miss Sunshine several days ago, and I'm really hoping they send me one too, because I missed Little Miss Sunshine and that would be a super fun surprise in the mail. I wonder if the studios only send some of the movies to some of the members of the guild and not to others? Or do they send everything to everyone? It's confusing.

New Thing #168: I created my own new favorite sushi roll. I just discovered this sushi restaurant near my house that lets you create your own rolls (maybe all sushi restaurants would let you create your own roll if you asked, but i've never asked before, and this place has it on their menu, like, "create your own roll") and the Erik Roll is kinda decadent but it is Oh So Good. The Erik Roll contains: crab meat, salmon, avocado, cream cheese, and crunchy roll flakes, and sweet sauce.

Not a New Thing, but still important: You can still VOTE FOR TIFFANY and she really needs your votes, so have at it.

Oh, and your sushi roll sounds way yummy.

Thank you for your continued, passionate support for Tiffany. I have all the hope in the world that those Ceris-lovers will peeeeeter out in the final stretch.

oh dude, now you can get us in to screenings and stuff (Bale and Jackman...you could have come), I forgot you were Guild now, or at least RSVP for me, cuz you never come here, well except hang with other people.

This comment brought to you by the word, "Guilt!".

Caris, also known as Care Bear, loves dancing, playing with her dog, working out and living life to its fullest. She is a Gemini that describes herself as outgoing. Caris's likes country music, Mexican food, vacationing in Hawaii and reading the Bible. In five years, Caris sees herself still dancing and becoming a successful physical therapist. Her most memorable moment as a member of her squad was when she went to the first team meeting and met her teammates. It was then that she realized how truly lucky she was to be on such a great team.

Take her down!

I don't even like Sushi and that sounded good to me! I'm glad you got the screening stuff...one day you can explain to me exactly how all those guild memberships work! I'm so clueless and I really should know all this stuff. Hope you're still liking the book!

Okay, wait. I'm sorry, did you say you missed Little Miss Sunshine.

As in, oops, I missed it. I was trying to catch that bubble that was floating in front of my face, and I couldn't reach it before it floated away. MISSED IT?

What exactly is wrong with you?

That movie is great. It would change your whole life, if you just bothered to not miss it.

Angrily,
Eleanor
