Brokeback to the Future

So, I've started writing personal essays. It's one of the New Things I'm doing this year. The personal essay I'm working on right now is about my history with Michael J. Fox. (That's all I want to say about it here because I still need to write the thing.) But, suffice it to say, Michael J. Fox was my first crush.

The reason I bring all of this up is that my new BFF, Bonnie, just sent me a link to the most brilliant thing I have ever seen in my entire life.

This is on par with that great The Shining preview (revamping "The Shining" into a romantic comedy called, simply, "Shining") that was making the rounds awhile back.

Pure greatness. Makes me wanna be Doc Brown. (I kinda am Doc Brown.)

Please enjoy the hell outta this.

Rose, I just went to your blog and I love that your name isn't really Rose, but that you call yourself Rose because Rose is one of your favorite names. Rose is one of MY favorite names too. My middle name is Ross and if I had been born a girl, my middle name would have Rose. True story.

Hey didn't you already write about how you used to model your behavior on Alex P Keaton's? You defintiely need to paoch that for you essay.

Oh, and this has nothing to do with Micheal J Fox. But everything to do with fake trailers...

Okay, to everyone who took my advice and watched the Brokeback to the Future trailer and loved it, I LOVE YOU.

And Lindsay, yes, good memory, I did mention in an earlier post that I used to model my behavior after Alex P. Keaton. I remember there was a time when my parents were afraid I was going to become a Republican because I emulated Alex so much. I am definitely going to delve into all of that in the MJF essay.

And thank you for the Sleepless link! I love this new trend in fake trailers. It's becoming its own artform. Love it.
