24 out of 50? That's 48%! I totally get an F in America.

So, I just discovered that I've been to 24 out of 50 US states. In this year, my Year of New Things, I think I need to work on that number.

I totally got an F-MINUS! My score is:

13% - States I have intentionally been to/lived in.

17% - If I count states in which I switched planes on my way to some of the aforementioned states.

23% - If I also count states that I've had a toe in (because when I was a kid, I went to that place where the four squarish states meet and it's a thing to stand there and take a picture and be like "hey! I'm in four states at the same time, muthafucka!") plus one that I think I camped in when I was too young to be aware of/care where we were actually driving.

I suppose I should add that I haven't really done up all of these states, if you know what I mean. Some of these states I have literally plowed right through on road trips. But I've still been in 'em.
