Okay, the anonymous commenter 2 comments above seems to be correcting my usage of the phrase "the jig is up" and telling me it's supposed to be "the gig is up." Now, I've never been very good with cliches, but "the gig is up" just doesn't sound right to me. Not at all. I'm gonna do some googling and I'll be back with a full report.

And tina, I thought we decided your new name was gonna be elizatina, or christinabeth?

Okay, first, hello Chriswab! Welcome to my year of new things.

Second, tina, for some reason, Chriswab's comment didn't show up on my computer, so when I read your comment I had no idea what the reference was to, and so I thought you were insane.

Third, when I say in my comment above that I'm refering "2 comments above," I obviously meant "3 comments above."
