Five Somewhat Odd, or at least Random, Celebrity Crushes (other than Michael J. Fox, a.k.a. My Number One Celebrity Crush, odd or otherwise)

Who are these guys? (This question could double as #6 on the previous blog: don't know these "celebrities!")

I've always thought that guy at the end of your post is hot too, but I've never known his name! Who is that?

I'm not sure who the guy at the top of this post is either; at first I thought maybe Josh Lucas but his cheeks are a little too appley.

Ilene (I think the top anonymous comment is Ilene):

(1) The first guy is Jason Segal. He played Nick Andopolis on Freaks and Geeks and he's on How I Met Your Mother now. He's great on HIMYM, but my crush stems from Freaks and Geeks. He's very charismatic, very charming. I met him at a party once (very briefly) and I was kind of flustered. I think I'd just gotten through watching Freaks and Geeks in its entirety for the second time, so Nick Andopolis was fresh in my head and it was too strange to meet him IRL. He was very nice.

(2) Anthony Stewart Head. He played Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and maybe if you didn't watch the show you might not see the hotness, but I don't know anyone who DID watch the show who doesn't agree that he's super hot. We once stood together in a valet parking line, waiting for our cars, and we talked and he could not have been nicer. AND he has a great British accent.

(3) Harry Goaz. He played Andy, the emotional sheriff's deputy from Twin Peaks. I had a major crush back then and I still have the crush, all these years later.

(4) This is Michael Maloney, as Laertes in the Kenneth Branaugh Hamlet. He was also in Truly, Madly, Deeply--and several other films. He was my Shakespeare teacher when I studied in London and we ALL had crushes on Michael all semester long.

(5) Clark Gregg. Married to Jennifer Grey. (At least I think they're married.) Funny, quirky, sexy. Lots of movies and TV shoes. I cannot believe I just typed the phrase "TV shoes." Whoops.

Okay, the guy from Freaks and Geeks. Once you told me I recognized him immediately, but I had no clue beforehand....
