Quick question for "blogger" bloggers:

If you're a blogger user (i.e. you have a blog through blogger) and you read my blog and you've made the transition from "old" blogger to "new" blogger, could you drop me a quick line (via the comment section) about whether or not you're happy you made the transition. Is it worth it? Is it better? Do you lose data when you make the transition? Horror stories? Love letters? Just wondering. Thanks.

I tried to make the transition, but my blog is too old and has too many entries...it won't let me use the Beta. I have to wait for it to be finalized.

Hate it. Wish I could go back to the old blogger.

I like not having to wait for the whirling thingee to stop whirling when publishing, and I like the easy page setup (links, etc.), but I had to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox because picture posting was unreliable with IE(sometimes I can upload pics to the blog and sometimes it won't let me) in the new Blogger. All in all it's pretty much the same as before for me (even the picture posting was pretty unreliable pre-Beta). I'd probably wait to switch until absolutely necessary if I were you: I've read quite a few horror stories, and I have a feeling I may have just gotten lucky with my fairly glitch free experience. I'm not a big fan of Blogger to begin with, but it's free, so I put up with it.

Interesting that Doug has more problems uploading pictures now. I have upgraded to IE7, and also use blogger beta and have more success uploding pictures now than I ever did before.

As far as I can tell I personally haven't had any problems. I'm at about 150 blog posts, and they all came over fine.
